Domain Names and Name servers

By Ashokrajan Balakrishnan

You need a domain name to point your website with your webhosting. For that, you have to login to the place where your domain name is registered, also enter name servers. This will be supplied by your webhosting company and also the domain name to point to that new hosting account and left from the old one. Although you can get your new webhost co gives you a temp domain, certainly you will need to tell them that you need to go back using your actual domain name. This update of name server will take some moment to finish. Nearly it will take 1 or 2 days.
After completed it, your domain name must be pointed at your new host account. Although the changeover is taking place, surfers will be taken mostly thru your web site with your old webhosting or your website with the new webhosting. After your domain starts landing at your new webhosting plan, you are almost done. Look back on to your active content, blogs, forums, comments’ etc.
Getting a correct Webhosting. While it comes to select a best Webhosting for setting a blog, there are some things you have to think about. You should first make sure that it’s going to deliver you sufficient disk space and bandwidth to keep your head above water for a while. If you suppose to write five or more posts a day - you might fill up the space quit quickly. Moreover be sure that you have an upgrade you can make when you need. It may be the next major plan, or it may be to VPS or dedicated account. If you be a no-body now launching your 1st blog, you might possibly just go with the least cost plan and go on from that. Locate some blogs there and see what they are using for hosting.
Uptime is always essential for this, since you never desire your surfers to be left looking at a “this site is not available right now” message for a long time. Still we haven’t chosen our blogging engine so far, you should keep in mind that you require a Webhost that will support the features you want. So you may choose a few good employees first, and then go on to finding the content management system you need.
