Green tea is also called as Chinese Tea , is made form Camellia sinensis
is the species of plant whose leaves and leaf buds are used to produce Chinese tea. This is a special variety of Tea which has undergone minimal oxidation during processing. Hence it acts as a Anti oxidant to the human body. Green Tea originates from china, but it has its wide spread in Korea, Japan, Indonesia, Singapore, and Malaysia in the early stage of its discovery. In later 90s it gained its importance in Middle East and later in western countries.
The notable benefits of the green Tea is the regular usage of green tea reduces the risk of heart attack . Green tea is rich in polyphenols, which acts an agent for weight loss. In turn it fights with the cholesterol in the body and break soluble fat . According to research reported at the Sixth International Conference on Frontiers in Cancer Prevention, sponsored by the American Association for Cancer Research, a standardized green tea polyphenol preparation (Polyphenon E) limits the growth of colorectal tumours in rats treated with a substance that causes the cancer. "Our findings show that rats fed a diet containing Polyphenon E are less than half as likely to develop colon cancer," Dr. Hang Xiao, from the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers University, Piscataway, New Jersey, noted in a statement.
Green tea also contains carotenoids, tocopherols, ascorbic acid (vitamin C), minerals such as chromium, manganese, selenium or zinc, and certain phytochemical compounds.
The substances of Green tea forms a good mix to rejunavate the health system, and cleans up the oxidation content in the blood. the regular and right quantity usage of green tea for a longer duration can give good results . University of Purdue researchers recently concluded that a compound in green tea inhibits the growth of cancer cells. There is also research indicating that drinking green tea lowers total cholesterol levels, as well as improving the ratio of good (HDL) cholesterol to bad (LDL) cholesterol.
Negative effects reported in Green Tea
The only side effect that is reported in green tea usage is , taking green tea is insomnia , means caffine content can cause addiction and drowsy feeling , incase not taken after a regular usage . there are approximately thirty to sixty mg. of caffeine in six - eight ounces of tea, compared to over one-hundred mg. in eight ounces of coffee. But till it is not proven scientifically ,

How to prepare green tea
Take 100 ml of plain water , put it to the pan with a medium burner heat , don’t over heat . over heating may kill the live cells of the green leaves and its minerals. Heat to range of 85 degrees Celsius to 100 degree Celsius . On heating to this temperate you can find the leaves swell and become big in size than they were before heating . off the burner and take out from the pan. Filter using a regular Tea filter , add honey to taste . Avoiding sugar is good , so honey may act as a replacement sweater .Taking it twice a day , after breakfast and after dinner is suggested time .Never take in empty stomach , the caffine content can induce gastric production in stomach.This may cause vomiting symptoms .
